The School Day Program
9:00 am - 3:00 pm
This program begins in the morning and follows the same schedule as the half day morning program. At noon, the children have lunch followed by a nap from 12:30 pm - 2:30 pm, if they require one, or participate in the afternoon cultural program with the study of zoology, botany, geography, history, music, and art.
The Day Care Program
7:30 am - 5:30 pm
This program begins when the child arrives at school. If the arrival time is before 8:45 am, the child selects an activity from the art materials and games. From 9:00 am to 12:00 noon, the all day children participate in the Montessori activity period and group time. At 12:00 noon, they have lunch. From 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm the children have naps or participate in the extended day program. The schedule for the remainder of the day is the same as the extended day program.
Partial Week Program
The school now offers partial week programs. We offer 3 days per week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday), 4 days per week (Monday-Thursday) or 5 days per week (Monday-Friday). These program options allow families to select how many days per week their child attends. Each of the mentioned programs follows the activities of the School Day or Day Care Program.
Summer School
Summer school continues with the Montessori curriculum, but has a special focus that changes each summer. We offer exciting programs like human anatomy, solar system, and marine biology and invertebrates. For human anatomy, your child learns how their body parts work individually and as a whole. For marine biology, your child will have an opportunity to witness, follow, and understand the life cycle of different animals and their environment. Live samples are brought to the classroom for the child to make observations and witness natural transformation. For the solar system, your child learns about the vast world outside Earth. They will learn wonders of our immense solar neighborhood. Field trips are held by the end of the summer to conclude their study. Summer school begins the Tuesday following the last day of the academic year, and extends to the Friday prior to the beginning of the new academic school year. Please refer to the calendar and newsletter for updates.
